Movie InfoRachcha or Racha(Telugu: రచ్చ) is a 2012 Telugu film written and directed by Sampath Nandi. The film is produced by R. B. Choudary under his Megaa Super Good Films banner. The film stars Ram Charan Teja and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles.[1] The film was released in India on 5 April 2012. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Ragalai and opened to poor reviews. [2] while it was simultaneously made intoMalayalam as Raksha and into Hindi as well. 'Betting' Raj (Ram Charan Tej) is a ‘basthi’ guy who makes his living by accepting challenges for money. He lives along with his adopted parents (M.S.Narayana and Sudha) and enjoys his life. Tragedy strikes the family in the form of a medical emergency and Raj needs 20 lakhs to save his father. As he is on the lookout for money, he is approached by James (Ajmal) with a challenge. James dares Raj to seduce Chaitra (Tamannaah Bhatia), the daughter of powerful mining Don Bellary (Mukesh Rushi). A desperate Raj takes up the challenge and begins wooing Chaitra. As time goes by, Chaitra too reciprocates the love and Raj wins his bet. But as it turns out, Chaitra has a secret and Raj has a flashback that he is not aware of. As the story begins to unfold, Raj realizes that he has a mission to fulfill and a promise to keep. What is that promise and what is Chaitra's secret? That forms the rest of the story.

- First half has a bit of fun. Second half has story and twists. Plus points of the film are Ram Charan Tej and dialogues. On the flip side, freshness in story and better handling of the film would have made this film connect with the contemporary audiences. Racha film is made for fans and masses. This is the first big star film of summer 2012 and it has garnered terrific openings. The success of the film will depend on how masses embrace it.

Verdict: Neither Go... - Racha is an out and out mass offering and the makers have succeeded in playing to the galleries. The film has all the commercial elements required for a good run at B and C centers. Ram Charan and Tamanna deliver good performances. A better screenplay in the second half, some care in editing and a more engaging story would have really elevated the film. Still, Racha is decent one time summer watch and with next to zero competition for almost two weeks, the film will do well commercially

- This is one of the best mass movie i have seen recently . Very well made without any boring. Charan did excellent job. Dances are excellent.

Tamanna is too hot.excellent BGM - Very good mass entertainer aftre a long time.Ramcharan has stepped into altogether a new role filled with enormous action. He is made to spell plenty of mass dialogues to woo masses. Action scenes came to his rescue while dances wise Mega spark was missing. Tamanna is gorgeous playing the pivotal character interlinking first and second halves using the role of Ajmal. Costumes selected for Tammu further enhanced her beauty. Mukesh Rishi was a routine villain and Kota, Dev Gill are unnecessary characters. Comedy by Brahmi as Dance Master Rangeela with Venu Madhav, Thaagubothu Ramesh and Srinivas Reddy relaxed the entire first half. In second half, Ali as ‘Love Guru’ and Jayaprakash Reddy as CI raised laughter. Of the remaining Krishna Bhagawan, MS Narayana, Ravi Babu, Raghu Babu, Sudha, LB Sriram and others did to their parts.
